Shampoo and Hair gel result in hair loss?

My parents %26amp; few friends as well seem to think that I'll go bald if I don't stop using shampoo, mainly because I shampoo EVERDAY!!

I am totally confused about this!! Please only answer if you are a hair specialist or know the FACTS. Do not answer if you are not sure. And yes I am a guy, if that matters.Shampoo and Hair gel result in hair loss?
anyway hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago I suffered from hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.

the things that really worked for me was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also I used herbal treatment - TrichoZed

It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

good luck!

not only my and my husband`s own personal experienceShampoo and Hair gel result in hair loss?
Thanks everyone for your input. And NO, I am not losing hair, atleast not yet. I was just curious %26amp; scared as well, that i might start losing in the future(Around 40+). Also losing hair is not in my family but for some reason my cousin thinks he's losing hair because of shampoo.

Report Abuse

Of course it can! Using shampoo everyday continuously will dry out your hair. In which will result into baldness. Gel will do little harm to your hair, well sometimes. Gel can sometimes permanently harden your hair(Until you cut it), unless you use one that doesn't. But baldness is MOSTLY due to your genetics, if your parents or grandparents hair is thinning(Losing Hair) then your hair might thin as well. Stress is another example of thinning hair.

Just use shampoo 2-3 times a week. That doesn't mean you shouldn't wash your hair. And use gel that doesn't damage your hair(If you're not sure, check the back). Hope this helps.
Yes I do know what I'm talking about. I wrote an article for ezinearticles.com that will be published in less then a week. It's called Saw Palmetto vs chemical hair loss treatments. In it I discuss the actual cause for hair loss which can be different for men and women. All the facts are discused within. If you or you family are experiencing any hair loss problems there is no time like the present to do something about it. By the way shampooing everyday won't make your hair fall out, just read the ingredients and try to use the ones with the most natural instead of chemicals.
NO WAY. That is impossible, the only thing that causes balding is your genes of chemicals (radiation etc.). My husband washes his hair with shampoo twice a day everyday (for the past 30 years) %26amp; he still has a full head of hair. Not to mention I have done the same. They obviously don't know what they're talking about. You are right to be clean!!
The key is to condition after you shampoo. Shampoo removes natural oils and moister from the hair, conditioner replaces it. Just a conditioning shampoo is not enough (but good to use) get a good conditioner; a good leave in conditioner is good too. Only need a little, about a dime size will do the trick.
I dont think it directly results in hair loss BUT it can effect the texture of your hair. Washing your hair everyday can cause it to be dry and dull.
lol don't shampoo every day...........

shampoo your hair twice a week

don't apply too much gel
