Does garlic extract in your shampoo work against hair loss? Have you tried it?

Garlic is a rubefacient, meaning it brings blood circulation and heat to the area it was applied to. The hair follicles receive their nourishment through blood supply so increased circulation can definitely help. Garlic also contain sulfur which is necessary for healthy hair. I would think the garlic extract would be more effective if it were applied to the scalp in a formula and left on for a little while. I have not personally tried garlic. I have used essential oils which also act as rubefacients. They work very well for my hair loss.Does garlic extract in your shampoo work against hair loss? Have you tried it?
Garlic will by itself do nothing at all to help hair loss. There is nothing in it to prevent hair loss at all. Your hair follicles are well below the surface of your scalp and most ingredients, including garlic, will not penetrate unless they are specially formulated.

I tried everything from garlic (which smells by the way) to oils, chemical treatments and most things did not work for me. Eventually I tried hair supplements which included proteins and vitamins in them. since your hair is 95% protein it makes sense to get as much as you can.

Good supplements also include DHT inhibitors which block DHT from being produced and attacking your follicles.

If you get a hair loss shampoo and hair supplements and combine them with a healthy diet there is a good chance you can stop your hair loss.Does garlic extract in your shampoo work against hair loss? Have you tried it?
My dad had been suffering from hair loss and only recently he started to see a huge difference with his hair (lots of fine hair growing out especially at the temple area) after trying out the various natural techniques taught to grow hair for 1 week at this website http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I must say its a very informative, effective and easy to follow step-by-step guide. I highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from hair loss.

Hope it helps ! =)
